Project Description
Nerve / Neurological Mobilisation
Neural mobilisation, or neurodynamics, is a movement-based intervention aimed at restoring homeostasis in and around the nervous system.
What is Neurodynamics?
Neurodynamics refers to the communication between different parts of the nervous system and to the nervous system’s relationship to the musculoskeletal system.
We all know that your joints move and your muscles contract and stretch. But did you know that your nerve tissue also needs to move freely and unimpeded?
If your neural tissue is impeded then pain or restriction of your nerve movement is a common result. The adverse neural tension can result in nerve pain and limited motion.
Reduce pain, muscle tension and tightness
Improve mobility
Breakdown of scar tissue
Reduce delayed onset muscle soreness
Injury prevention
